He was a physicist in Madrid, Spain between 1948 and 1957. He took a position in Spain because the Spanish government started the Instituto Nacional de Electrónica, as part of Ciudad Universitaria. He was living between 1948 and 1 Jun 1957 in Madrid, Spain.3,4 Dates approximate. His niece Heide Ruppel lived with him from 1951 until 1955. He wrote a book, "Medidas en Microondas" in 1953 in Madrid, Spain.
