1924. Giovanni MAZZEI / LAZZARINI was born on 10 May 1630 in Pescaglia, Lucca, Toscana, Italy.³⁶⁴ He died of apoplexy (apoplesia) on 6 Mar 1708 in Pescaglia [Villabuona], Lucca, Toscana, Italy.³⁶⁵ Ste' in letto y male di apoplesia da 4 mesi. With respect to his surname: In 1630, on his baptismal certificate, he is listed as "Giovanni di Giuseppe di Mattheo di Lazzarino." In 1672, on his marriage certificate he is "Lazzarini." His son Giuseppe's baptismal certificate (1675) says "Giuseppe di Giovanni di Giuseppe di Mattheo Lazzarini o Mazzei." On his death certificate in 1708 he is listed as "Mazzei," as he is on his grandchildren Mattho (1703), Camilla (1705), and Fiora (1708)'s baptismal certificates. Giovanni MAZZEI / LAZZARINI and Camilla NICOLAI were married on 28 Jan 1672 in Pescaglia, Lucca, Toscana, Italy.³⁶⁶

1925. Camilla NICOLAI³¹⁴ was born about 1628.³⁶⁷ She died on 12 Dec 1704 in Pescaglia [Villabuona], Lucca, Toscana, Italy.³⁶⁷ Note that on her 1704 death certificate her husband is referred to as Mazzei, whereas on their 1672 wedding certificate he was Lazzarini. Children were:
