residence in 1927 in Paterson, Passaic, NJ, USA.95 Family story: In the attic there was a tablecloth with
a fringe. She occasionally would light a thread, watch it burn and go out.
One evening she could not get the fire out and, not knowing what else to do,
went downstairs to join the family at dinner. When a neighbor alerted her father
to the fire, they called the fire department, and the fire was extinguished with
only minor damage. The fire was blamed on embers from the train, whose tracks
were only a few yards away at the corner of 22nd Street. She finally confessed
to this 40 years later, in 1967, a year before her mother's death.
She was educated at St. Mary's High School and graduated in Jun 1935 in Paterson,
Passaic, NJ, USA. She was educated at St. Joseph's School of Nursing
and graduated as a Registered Nurse in Jun 1938 in Paterson, Passaic, NJ, USA.
She died on 13 Feb 2003 in Totowa, Passaic, NJ, USA. She was buried
on 19 Feb 2003 in Paterson, Passaic, NJ, USA. Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

of the kids" when I had my friends over. How many other parents enjoyed
Elvis Presley? To my children, a trip to Towaco was a must every Sunday."

school and later between 1931 and 1939.133
He played for St. Mary's HS, St. Bon's Holy Name, PTA 25, Morning Call All Stars,
Eddie Mac's, Lincoln Triangles, Knights of Columbus, Redwoods. He was a timekeeper
for the WPA between 1934 and 1936. He was educated at St. Mary's
High School and graduated about 1934 in Paterson, Passaic, NJ, USA.133 He had a scholarship to John Marshall Law School.
He went three days, and could not afford the bus fare, so he went to work.
He was an office worker at Wrights between 1936 and 1944. He served
in the military between Jan 1944 and Jan 1946.133 He served in the US Army, beginning 1944 in Fort Dix,
Camp Crowder, Stoneman, Cal POE. "He was in the Signal Corps. They wanted
to put him into cryptography because of his high IQ, but his Secret Service clearance
came through after he went overseas." He was in Bouganville, Luzon, Montoro,
New Caledonia, (Larote?) . . .
He died on 13 Sep 1999 in Florida, USA. Dolores BALL (Carr) wrote
on the death of her father in 1999: "He was a gentleman and he was a gentle
man. I've always wondered how he could possibly have fought in the war, but he
did it because it was right. He didn't care about image or status. He respected
everyone as a person. The less fortunate got no less respect, and like it or
not, people who enjoyed a high position received no edge from My Dad. People
were people - period. He expected one thing from everyone - honesty. His sense
of integrity was the only thing that surpassed his sense of humor. He was honest
at any cost and he expected no less from everyone." Dolores (Lolita, D,
