Serow was in Germany as a guest lecturer and visiting f 3 CONC aculty member at Martin Luther Univesität Halle-Wittenberg in Halle. 3 CONT 3 CONT Until June of this year, Serow directed the FSU Center for the Study of P 3 CONC opulation, where he conducted research on the economics and demography o 3 CONC f aging, internal migration, and applied demography. He also taught th 3 CONC e economics of population, applied economic demography and the economic 3 CONC s of aging for the FSU Department of Economics, and has published numer 3 CONC ous books and articles on demography.
