He coached the German national sevens team in a World Cup Qualifying Tournament
in 1992, and was a coaching consultant to the Portuguese national sevens team
in the World Cup Qualrying process in 1996. He also served as a consultant to
the Portuguese Rugby Union in 1997. He was guest coach of the Trinidad and Tobago
national sevens team the World Cup Qualifying process in 2000.
