In this picture, I'm showing
off the fruits of worldwide sevens travel: my shorts are from
an Atlantis Men's tour of Tahiti in 2009; the T-shirt from an
Atlantis Women's tour of Borneo in 2008, and the hat (of the top Cuban baseball team "Industriales")
from a co-ed Atlantis tour to Havana in 2011.
We gathered together Friday evening June 8 for a quick run through with this mostly
collegiate team (5
Princeton, 2 Penn State, 1 Vassar), then
retired to the Signes household for a traditional
paella.
Saturday we won 4 matches, vs. the
Suffolk Bull Moose, Severn River, Harrisburg and Lancaster, but
suffered two losses, both to
the DC Furies, in the pool round and again in
the semifinals.
