TOLEDO **159 was born
on 28 Sep 1882 in Periana, Málaga, Spain.159,160 Full
name: José de la Santísima Trinidad. Nació en la casa de sus
padres en la Calle del Horno. He died before 30 Sep 1886.48,161 No one
in our family knew that there ever was a José LAGOS TOLEDO until I discovered
his birth certificate in the Periana Civil Register in Nov 1999. Writing in
Periana on 30 Sept 1886, Manuel MÚÑOZ FRIAS, an uncle of Francisco
LAGOS MUÑOZ as well as a parish priest, wrote "Certifico que D. Francisco
Lagos Muñoz de su legítima matrimonio con Dª Maria Toledo Ruiz,
tiene cuatro hijos [Dolores, Manuel, Antonio, Francisco] . . . " which leads
me to believe that José must have died by then. In addition, not having
found a death certificate in Periana leads me to believe he probably died in
Madrid, to which the family moved around 1885. -- Emil SIGNES.
